Alberto Della Casa (born in Modena, Emilia Romagna) and Letizia de Lucia (born in Chieti, Abruzzo) began their career in the early ‘90s in Italy as food market analysts and consultants for multinational firms, industrial food groups, international industrial food consulting companies, and international specialized newspapers and magazines. They are also experts in publishing, research and data analysis, product development, and food safety and legislation.
Following their passion for the Italian food excellence and after 20 years of desk jobs, they moved to Arizona with an inspired goal: bring in the field the Italian passion for artisanal gelato. Alberto and Letizia were trained in Chieti by worldwide known “Maestro Gelatiere” Massimo Barbetta, Italian Champion of Artisanal Gelato. They also attended several training courses at the Carpigiani Gelato University, in Bologna, at international companies specialized in gelato based products, and with famous pastry chefs.
Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, into the Scottsdale Mall next to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMOCA), a hip and happening arts and culture mecca.
